I had mine remapped with an Autologic upgrade, also fitted a big Allisport intercooler, made some difference but not as much as I hoped.

P.S It was an Allisport intercooler.

I did mine a couple of years ago, also blanked EGR and fitted silicone hoses. Not a very big improvement for the money spent but engine revs a bit better, mine is an auto.

Our 54 plate TD4 had been almost trouble free for over 3 years, then the rear diff broke the aluminium casing when my wife was driving it. Thankfully she pulled over and we had it taken to a friends 4x4 garage and he fitted a replacement diff. Other than that and a replacement 2nd hand rear door...

Not today but last week the rear diff casing split and the diff crown wheel almost fell out when my wife was driving it ! My mate runs a 4 x 4 mostly Land Rover repair garage, and he replaced the diff for us. Today I replaced the 2 rear brake pipes to the rear brake cylinders as It's MOT is due...

I was thinking of fitting a Ronbox to our 54 plate TD4 Auto, but it has an Autologic upgrade in the ECU already, would the Ronbox work with it does anyone know. We are looking to get better fuel economy.

When ours was playing up I fitted an Optima Red-Top battery, that was about 2 1/2 years ago, no problem with it since (I did have to fiddle with the connections as the terminals were the wrong way round) !

I blanked off my EGR a couple of years ago, had an Autologic remap done and replaced the crankcase breather for a BMW one. No comments at last 2 MOT's either. I also have an Allisport full face intercooler fitted and silicone hoses. I only get to drive it when my wife Isn't using it for her work...

I just replaced the rear diff mounting on our 54 plate TD4 HSE, second time within a year. Vehicle is auto, mainly my wife driving, she doesn't drive fast either. Just a thing that Freelanders need frequently replaced.

Not today but replaced the top bush on rear diff on Saturday and changed the engine oil and oil filter (I am going to cut a hatch into the undertray soon to drain the oil without taking it off) I normally change the oil and filter around 6 - 7000 mile intervals.

Have you looked ad the breather at the rear of the engine ,as it can clog up. I changed mine for a BMW one which doesn't require cleaning. It is not necessarily your problem but should be done. I think it may be a delaminating turbo hose causing the smoke, easy to find if you remove one end of...

I agree, fuel pump in rear wheelarch. Ours died about a year ago, needed a new fuel pump fitted. (54 Plate TD4 HSE Auto)

Changed rear Nearside wheel bearing ,this time with genuine Land Rover one, hope it lasts better than the one I fitted last year !!

I fitted new wiper blades on ours today !
