I tried putting the correct m10 helicoil in but access is an issue without taking the engine out. For now I have a m6 securing one of the 3points. When I take the engine out at some point i will fix properly. I have also just changed the solenoid to a completely brand new unit so cannot believe...

I changed my slave last week on my 200tdi. With the hose removed and the bolts out I slowly edged it out until i could grab it and hold it in position. Once the slave was out i cleaned it all up and left the rod hanging about 1cm out of the hole ishh. Worked for me

Ive gone and looked at my earth points: 1. - Battery to side of gearbox 2. Transfer to side of gearbox?? 3. Starter motor earth to engine 4. Engine to chassis Seems about right? Will give them all a good clean once the rain stops!

Havent made that clear! There is: 1. Battery to chassis 2. Starter motor to engine If there is chassis to engine which i assume there is where would it be?

UPDATE: Still have the same issue as before which was a clicking solenoid so I believe the rebuild worked. However, it is missing the metal pins, as I found no way of attaching the motor to the casing with them on. Im going to email superwinch, but if anyone had any possible fixes that would...

Cheers for the help guys. I've tried the parts diagram search and there's a few which give me a better idea. IamRobbie - Yes I'm pretty sure it does just need to work out exactly how they fit.

If you can afford the insurance go for it! But it's down to personal preference and what your using it for as well.
