The manual transmission uses the connections at the bottom of the rad as they are a water to oil cooler that is in the rad, they just sell one that fits both type of gearbox.

The pump could be worn out and not pumping air if its been feeding a leak, have a check through the steeps in this guide from the late Wammers https://www.landyzone.co.uk/land-rover/checking-eas-compressor-and-diaphragm-valve.172555/

After a 7 year love hate relationship I've decided it's time to let the L322 go. As much as I'd like to keep it I don't have the space for it along side this 😍

That's the exact reason I'm looking at that unit! You can choose from around 4000 colours for the backlighting, so not only can I have green backlighting I can have the correct shade of green 😁

Its like riding a bike, tall gears are more difficult to pedal, you have find the easiest gear to maintain speed without too much effort, all depends on hills, wind and energy.

Yesterday i took my 1999 P38 for MOT at 2.45 pm and by 3.30 i drove it out with a pass. Not bad seeing it hasnt been on the road for 5 years but before it went in i had to replace 5 bulbs but that was all today i taxed it.

Not just the L322. I would go as far as to say: The P38 is different... to every other car! Man that is a complicated arrangement! @Flossie - Stand really still and don't do ANYTHING until you have a new battery! :)
