Sport Anybody got a broken Parking Brake Module I can buy?

Hang on... What? How do I code it to the car? Not something I knew needed doing. I've got GapIID so I should be able to do it but hadn't heard of that, do you have any instructions mate? I would be VERY keen to avoid replacing it again as it is a massive PITA. The error is "lost...

Sport Anybody got a broken Parking Brake Module I can buy?

Late last year we went through the grief of fitting a new EPB to my brother's 2010 RRS. It works just fine... BUT... It doesn't communicate with the car. It was an amazon special so I expect it was wrongly advertised and is actually for a later Discovery or something with eh faster CANBUS...

    L322 front suspension issue

If you can hear the air coming out, you don't need a tool to deflate it. Pretty sure the valve block is in the right wheel arch (definitely is in the rear), you can undo the unions there and deflate it that way too.

What did you do with your Range Rover today

I'm lucky enough to live in the flight path of the Spitfire from Headcorn Aerodrome, it passes over my house half a dozen times a day in the warmer months. If you pay the really big bucks for the passenger experience, they will do loops and barrel rolls with it which is quite often overhead...

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Went to my local JLR today to collect the tow bar recall parts for the good lady's Discovery 4. Very pleased to see that A) they've finished the building work on the new showroom, but more importantly B) the parking spaces have actually been designed for their vehicles to comfortably fit in...

Freelander 2 Freelander 2 for sale. 56 plate. NOW SOLD TO GENUINE BUYER.

^^^^This! I want to do some due diligence before I make contact. I'm casually looking for a cheap one of these for a bit of non-serious off road fun and this might have been it but the absence of the VRM puts me off and all this "no idea what it's worth, make a sensible offer" rubbish is the...

L405 Opinion on this TDV8 for sale please ?

Never owned one but I do know that when they were face-lifted, they fitted steering wheel buttons that are like a touch panel with haptic feedback. Bloody awful to use, the proper button on this are better in my opinion. I also know that the front knuckles split, it's fairly well documented...

    Replacing front outer cv boot

I broke one puller on mine and bent a second. The Discovery ones have been a piece of cake but my L322 was a stubborn mule on both sides! I was ready the second time around though.

I use a company that only do MOTs, their workshop is spotless, has an automated testing lane so every single time the test is the same rather than having an ape swinging on a pry bar etc. The tester just says "Pass or Fail, makes no difference to me". It's the polar opposite to most places as...

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Rear airbags replaced last night. First time I've ever changed them without one being split; didn't think about what a ball-ache it is to refit the rear arch liner after removing it to release the pressure from the valve block. The good news was that I also remembered to fit the new pad wear...

Loaded it with ramps and tools, drove to my friend's place and (believe it or not) fixed his Toyota! Ha! Land Rover rescues Toyota! It had to happen one day. Have that naysayers! I also ordered replacement air springs for the rear as I have a feeling that they're original units. If they...

L322 pulling my hair out! (Not much left)

You'll need a compressor to seat the bag on the seals when you put it back on, takes about 40-50psi I think. Probably good to have a lovely assistant around to hold the strut up while you pull the bag down at the base and inflate it a bit too. Doing them on your own isn't easy. I'm sure it...

L322 pulling my hair out! (Not much left)

It's three large O rings and spacers which I'd be curious as to why it would even fail there and you'll have to go to the effort of stripping it completely to get to them. I'm not confident enough to say one way or the other whether or not these are the main seal or a sort of secondary seal...
