You're correct. They probably did swap out the starter motor. It's got a busted contact switch. Luckily everyone switched to 12v and I located a as new 24v starter. Hope to get it on and crank her. I still haven't been able to check the timing belt. Couldnt open the main pulley nut. Mechanic...

Thanks! It served in Bangladesh Army. Unit and battalion I had to spray and delete prior to delivery. I'll collect it's log book next week.

I need to change my wiper and indicator stalks and some more switches. Where do I find these in 24v? Or are they not volt specific?

Going to get it tomorrow. A universal joint has come off from the steering column. Apparently the reason this car was removed from service. I'm guessing worst case scenario I may need a new steering box. So no steering now. Fixing it tomorrow. Taking my other defenders box just in case. Post...
