It's a weird material but it's a new belt as when the cam chain snapped the teeth around the crank was chewed off

OK update after spending a full day rebuilding the front turned her over but no start used some easy start and eventually she fired sort off sitting around 500rpm no throttle response at all and shaking badly I'm guessing the timing is still out 😔

Just want to say a big thank you to everyone who has helped find parts and give advice on this I have been stressing as I don't want to scrap the car I love having it even though its been a headache. In the process of rebuilding it now.

That's the one I'm going to my local landy garage tomorrow see if he has one laying about

Looking online there is no where selling one and my local parts store said huge back order 4-6 weeks waiting

No the retaint bolt is fine it's the bit that goes into the pipe that snapped

Used a strong glue however I'm concerned it won't hold

No I mean the fuel return pipe top of engine to the back

All timed up now but noticed when starting rebuild the fuel return has snapped one of the lugs. Does any have one laying about that they want to sell?
