hi dave yes your right its a waterway if i remember its the same size head as the head bolts but smaller in length all the bolts i have have been to small and the head bolts are all in place now so dont really want to remove one of them again thanks andy

got the head back on but im missing a bolt :doh: didnt even need to come out and its now missing its the one in the middle of the two head bolts in this picture can anyone tell me what it is , what size it is and here i can get on asap :rolleyes: thanks andy

i thought i might as well take the head off and see what the damage is i have taken a few pictures of the block and the gasket and i think ill get away with just replacing the gasket for a thicker one what do you guys think ?

thanks for the replays guys the water pump is fine but think the temp gauge might be faulty and the thermostat is defo fooked as is the heater matrix. i was driving around with a mobile sauna :p but have bypassed the matrix and is fine now
