Found these. I took a 3 Door FL1 sill which I made some cross section photos from. Maybe useful for rust proofing and wax injection. Note that the grommet in the rear wheel arch covers the back end, the plastic door trim screw mounts get you...

On a FL1 I had one with a pin hole in the breather pipe. When the fuel went up the filler pipe (when it was filled to cut off), it also went a small way up the breather. Just enough to find the hole. The hole, had been made by the self tapping...

Not very often, fortunately, I get "one of those jobs" ! Offered to replace a strut top mount for a mate. Both strut to hub bolts and nuts seized solid, like they had become one piece of metal. My 350 + ft lb impact driver wouldn't touch it. Nut...

Hi, Thanks. I only had one and got that solved thanks. If we could work out the pattern it would help others. Assume you'd need a list of serial numbers and lock codes that match ?? I'm sure the forum could provide.

Before you condemn the top mount or bearing, whip the coolant bottle off and check the top nut is tight. Allen key in centre to hold. I had one that needed a new lock nut and unscrewed on its own !!

No idea ! Depends who makes them and what you ask for I guess. Safest is to contact a supplier and either buy some or ask them for the threads. Maybe you can specify threads and keep them the same as the rest ofnthe vehicle ??

You can usually add a joiner just under the chassis rail. It is the bit in the wheel arch that rots. Make sure you get conifer pipes, copper is too soft and breaks when unscrewed at a later date. Make sure all flares on pipe ends are correct...
