The stainless performance intercoolers are a lot cheaper at Alive Tuning. You will need to have a remap to make best use of any uprated intercooler though.

It will have jumped to km like sierryfery said. Sometimes it makes the odmeter flash too. You will need to put it on diagnostic though if that happens to calibrate the miles.

Get the timing position checked out. I had 100% exactly same problem and it was the timing out which took half and hour and no parts to fix. Worth checking for the little time and cost put into this possible fix. Plus it's one thing that I find never get put forward as a fix.

The round black plastic cover to the front if the cam on the front if the engine has a rubber seal which goes quite flat and hard over time and oil comes through that and down the engine. A new cover and seal is only a fiver or so and takes seconds to replace. Could be that as a quick check....?
