Well I decided to investigate further before taking Mad Hat Man's advice and returning vehicle to supplier. Turns out the wiper arm is broken on the lower side where it mounts onto the motor. Replacement arm £13 from dealer and job done.:)

Hi All. My rear wiper only sweeps part of the screen, then sort of twists very slightly then returns to the rest position. I am not sure whether it is fitted to the correct spline and wonder if it needs moving round one? I have just taken delivery of this car and have not had chance to get...
