Feels ok Car drove as normal on her way home with no smoke or loss in power just rattling No fluid levels have changed

Hard to trace noises but sounds like it is from left side (as you look at engine) and towards the front

Crank pulley has no play on it

Oil level is good rocker cover off and noth unusual under it nothing loose and tappet gaps look ok

Quite loud rattling metallic noise has started in the last 10 miles and seems to be getting worse/ louder I’ve taken off the serpentine belt to eliminate tensioner and water pump with no effect Any ideas Thanks Adrian

Hi yes thanks for your reply the a/c pipe work goes into heater box I was lead to believe that they are push fit sealed with o rings and can be withdrawn by removing heater box Thanks

2.4 tdci with a leak on the air conditioning evaporator I’ve removed the dashboard and four bolts holding the heater box in place it has a small amount of movement but I’ve pulled,tugged for a hour or so and it won’t come out! I’m I missing something Thanks Adrian
