    Don't think its the engine , it could be the clutch , its only done around 1500 miles on the clutch at most. It just started happening out of the blue

    afternoon all, Just started having issues with my 90. In 1st and 2nd gears im experiencing bad kangaroo after that it stops until dropping back down to 2nd , thought it might be a boost isue at first but turbo seems ok, Any one else experienced this? Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks to all for the advice it's much appreciated, finally got it sorted. turned out to be the timing, for whatever reason the timing mark on the crank case is out by a couple of notches, has anyone else had this problem.?

    Seems to be a fair amount coming through, and the same amount from each pipe. Is there any way of testing the timing of the pump

    That's what I thought, but I know it ran on the old pump but the boost pin was seized fixed that but that one won't work either. I've probably missed something stupid somewhere

    Yes it was changed using the locking bung in the front to hold everything in place, I have currently got all the timing case off and have changed the belt and checked the timing, if for any reason the cam is out by 180° which has been suggested would it still run on the easy start?     The first one seized Solid, second one was a salvaged part turned out to have a seized boost pin(think they found it in a pond) It was running on that one with no power i have now fixed, Latest was a recon but cant get it to start on either,
