Thought id pop back an update with my solution. Turns out the seatbelts in the front are longer by around 5-600mm. So brought a front belt off ebay, popped it on and job done.

Do you have to strip the diff to get to this spider nut? You you have a link or guide to this?

My neighbour has a 300tdi so I cn check for a comparasion. Really hoping its just the diff, thats more than I can realistically do anyway. How will I know if its the transfer box aswell? How can you be sure its a 24 spline diff?

Apparently so, was told they will fit mine but need holes drilling as the 3dr doesnt have the same hole pattern as the 5dr. Has the full fitting kit to do this.

I collected and paid cash so im stuff with them untill I can shift them. Open to offers.

Sorry to dig up an old thread but looking to do this and wondered if anyone has any pictures that would help me out. Looking to do this the short way and unbolt the whole hub/cv assembly rather than stripping it piece by piece as suggested by Trewey above.
