does it have a key activated alarm? if so i would be interested in the drivers door locking mechanism. i can use my barrel, cant open or lock mine the cams snapped that turns the rods. :( how much please/

Some good things to think over, i think i will lift it 2" with just springs+shocks try the tyres with said trimming of the wheel arches and extend the bump stops, and see how it goes. cheers everyone nice thread!

thanks for advice fellas, i was only wondering if i could get a bit more height without fitting a complete lift kit, or causing any additional wear or damage. I will deffo do the brake pipes though.

Can i just put +2" springs and shocks on my Disco 1 without changing anything else? i would like to put 265/75/R16 tyres on and need a 2" lift to do it. Any advice please:confused:

What size are your springs? and how much for all 4?

All's good, changed the uj, refitted the prop shaft and gave it an oil change while i was about it, and with everything else i've done it goes like a dream now! ( well probably not as good as a td5, but not too bad at all !) :5bparty: Big thanks for everyones input i would have been clueless...
