Not particularly I don't think, although I don't know how I can tell. With accelerator, most response comes from first 1/4 of travel. Pushing I down further usually gives it less oomph.

2.5 na tithonus. After driving up hill (ie laboured) when road flattens out and I back off throttle, the power surges for a moment, as if I suddenly had more power. It sometimes behaves a bit like running out of fuel even though it isn't. Could it be the fuel filter? Any ideas? Thanks!

Not I. I very much doubt they are too bothered about anyone who might try and get in for free because so few people would actually bother to go 4 miles off road to do so! I wonder whether approaching them would make it worse?!?
