I have brought my dads 02plate landrover discovery td5 and I am well chuffed with it. it makes my 300tdi feel like ****e.:D:D

no difflock just low range.

im on tarmac just to try it out in works car park only gone 20metres or so. and it was cold engine wise and weather. when car is hot the problems gone.

when I select low range gear I get a misfire/rumble feel to engine and lots of smoke, does any body have any ideas? is fine in high range. it is a 300tdi

what grade oil are you using?
