so the previous owner of my 90 had it for just 5 months and with respect, he didn't have a clue!
The only thing he mentioned that he change was the rear propshaft, i should have known to check it before now.
Anyway i went to remove if for the first time today and had to jack the chassis very high before it came out as its too long and its completely compressed between the diff and transferr box with the propshaft travel seal pushed right up against the front UJ.
The propshaft fitted was part number FRC8393 which i believe fits 300tdi and td5, but i need FRC8392 for my 1994 200tdi 90.
Im obviously going to order and fit the right prop straight away
QUESTION IS.. will it have damaged anything as I've been using if for the last 3 years! is there anything i should check? and will it have been reducing axle movement?
Cheers all.
