I just fitted my new oil pump. There was a nagging feeling about how it fits so i looked under the injector pump and saw a large gap between the top of the drive shaft and the bottom of the circlip.

Is this normal? Have I got the right pump? Is there a missing circlip (are there meant to be two)?

circlip is just to stop pump shaft dropping down,as long as theres enough shaft in the skew gear splines it doesnt matter how far it is in
