I recently had to attend a training day for work and because I would be using my own vehicle and it wasn't based at the depot I usually work at I wouldn't be insured. Commuting means one place of work and so I'd need business use on my policy to attend the training. I'm sure you can imagine how popular I am with my boss

So did you attend?

I found adding business use on my insurance cost peanuts.
Then at least I was covered if I found I needed to travel to a meeting outside the company and not have to chase anyone to get a rental car.

Nope, I just had a twenty minutes screaming at by my boss  According to Flux my current insurance company didn't do business cover and there's no way I'm cancelling my policy and paying extra just for one day. The company I work for is a multi million pound one so they'll have to hire a car, I know of at least two other of my colleagues are in the same boat
