Evening gents i know its a bit late but could do with some advice, the old girl wont start been out and about all day no problems went to see one of the wifes pals and it wont start just get a single click sound from somwere un the passenger side of the car, already done a search on this fine site going to check the start motor tomorrow see if it spins off the battery is there anything else i should check wont have internet access while im at the car any relays couldn't seem to find were the click sound was at, carn't seem to get one problem fixed before another one turns up the joys of landrover thanx for any help

Just tried to fix this found a hack job on the wiring to the starter the usual two dont ask what colour cut and joined a few times but there was two thin wires brown and black on the starter joined to green and orange behind the steering wheel these two were cut through joined them together and she started but the starter motor kept going bye the time i realised too late burnt out on my way for a recon starter now any ideas what the two wires are for any help would be great cheers

Got this sorted now finally, got starter wired up tried to start and what do you know flat battery
jumped of the wifes car started no probs, still no idea what the two thin wires do left them off taped up put out the way for now they were putting out about 7 volts when trying to start, see what happens with them off, back to mot prep for now
