Now then does any one know owt about wiper motors? I set off to work this morning in the ****ing rain after a couple of wipes the wipers packed in then a couple of minuets later they started up again only to stop a wipe and a half later, if I got out and gave them a hand they would work ok,they worked ok if I lifted the blades of the window.

Seems like the motor is giving up, has anyone had one apart? can the com be skimmed?

it probably could but as ye'd need brushes to go with it and i think they may be hard to find ,you'd probelly be aswell to just git another.

Sods law says it'll be a sealed unit, but you never know what a hammer and chisel will do.

It was the bleedin' earth cable. It got bored and jumped off.
