Can anyone tell me if there is a simple fix for my series 2a wiper motor. Drivers one is working fine but the passenger side was working but the switch was very slack now its just stopped working. No smell of burning and everything inside looks clean and not burnt out. Just seen the price of them on flebay and dont fancy buying one.

Check the earth. I had a similar problem on a Series I, and it turned out that the earth wasn't making.

Don't know about yours, but mine switched to earth and the motor coil was on a direct feed via a single plug-in for the power.
