Still pretty new to the Land Rover scene so struggling with even the basics...

My front windscreen wipers work BUT
moving the stalk up one click they operate but don't park so I have to switch off at appropriate point
moving stalk down the wipers might move a bit then stop or will work but don't park

I assume down is intermittent and up is speed 1 & 2

So...stalk or park switch???

if wiper dont park its usually the park switch on motor or there is too much endfloat on drive gear

park switch is the plastic block wires connect to it is held on with a spring clip and slides off

the shaft end in center of pic is held by a circlip ,shaft shouldnt move in/out,it will visibly move in/out when running if theres an issue

Wow...thanks for swift reply - this really is a fantastic place to be!!

Any comments on intermittent or lack of please?

you may need to replace park switch and stalk,but there is a wiper delay relay secured to fuse panel amr2341
