Greetings everyone,just bought my first landy freelander.Had it a week,and the window regulator cable twisted and shredded around the mechanism.Has anyone ever replaced the cable,how difficult is it,is it worth trying,or shall I invest in a new one.Thanx.

No its not worth it, as you say just get a new one..i'd recommend a defender.
