does anyone know where i can get one of them itty bitty plastic blocks that guide the bottom of the scissors mechanism on a 96 300tdi electric window. Broke one when window froze. Or do i have to buy complete scissors unit.

If you have the skill and a bit of time you can make your own. I didn't have the time so went out and got a new regulator, the old regulator has now been repaired with a bit of nylon block I found, and with my Dremel I made a slider.

Good for you, but before you start do a google search as i saw an American site were the owner used a tooth past tube top.

Post a pic when you have made the slider.
