Was driving my Series 3 FFR 109 back from a clutch replacement and my goodness the ride was horrid! I'm going to fit parabolic springs, but the seats need replacing! Would these fit?

What seat upgrades has anyone else done? I'm about 6' 2inches and currently very cramped. Should I think about replacing the steering wheel for something smaller? I don't care about originality but comfort!

my series 3 has 90/defender seats in it, put in by a po, more comfortable than series seats

if they fit in a defender they can be fitted to a series

perfect, thanks guys! I have realised I may have a problem with the fuel tank. As mine's ex military its under the seat...I'll need to look at how best to solve this

Didn't think of that! Thank you! Will the frame for the base be identical to the series one?

not sure, I only have a 3 and a 1, the 1 is different from the later series in so far as the bases just slot into the backs and aren't fitted to the seat box. my 3 had the defender seats already in it. don't seem to be any extra holes drilled so I am guessing they are.
