HI does anybody know if a 2004 rover 75 cdti engine will fit straight in to my 2000 td4 or will certain items have to be swapped, fly wheel electrical items etc. Has anybody done this swap, any info would be most welcome thanks

I doubt it because of size and IRD unit compatability, but there "could" always be a first time for everything, maybe.

The engine is connected to the gearbox, the IRD is connected to the other side of the gearbox dem bones! 75 has m47 bmw engine should fit my freelander but did need to know what differences there are on engine. Dont think IRD will come in to it.

you're probably better of buying a rover 75
