Ohoy!
First post on this forum, but been hanging around for a bit..

Thundering about in a 98 Disco 1 ES 300tdi auto with EDC. Left hand drive since I'm in Gothenburg Sweden.
Car is a bit of a rust bucket...but since i bought it in late september I've been showering it with love and new bits and pieces here and there, and its usually thankful and rewarding....
Was sorting the vacuum pump out the other day and came across the female part of a quick connector mounted on the pump. some previous owner has closed the circuit using a bit of wire with cable clamps..

My question to you lords of land rover wisdom is:
what the hell is it for and what is supposed to be connected to it and why isn't it?
On the picture its the clear blue one to the right of the black, wich is connected to the gearbox i think..?

Any ideas?
