Why would I be needing to press the accelerator peddle for me rangie to start?

If I don't it will just turn over and not fire up (unless I press the pedal)

After it fires up it runs right as a bobbin!

Just when cold? Could be stepper not kicking in. If all the time i'd be looking at fuel filter/pump if it goes with some throttle.

It's a 1996. It does this when cold or warm.....

Do you recon it's me fuell filter?

Mines the same year and i never need any throttle to start,hot or cold !

I agree with the stepper motor possibility
