....just be fekkin paint ???? !!!! ????

Last year I bought some Chassis Black Gloss paint, and is getting close to the bottom of the tin .

So I had a look at the website and noticed that you can now get Chassis Black Satin paint.

Thinking this would look a bit nicer than the gloss, and I could use it all over the underneath and my repairs, I ordered a 5ltr tin at somewhat large expense. 50squid.

Imagine my horror when the first brush strokes of paint over the gloss, it all 'orange peeled' up. !!!
So I rang the suppliers, and was told 'yes mate, that'll happen, they're different types of paint' !!! WTF??

Why cant paint, just be paint ???

just been nosing on interweb, and the paint reaction is not so much Orange Peel, but more like this .....

That's not my paint, its a piccie off the interweb. but that is how mine looked like.

fortunately ?, it reacted straight away, and I only put down a few brush strokes.
