also in this journey my p38 covered 250000 miles and still going strong also many thanks to the landyzone member who kindly let me use his trailer
thereby overloading the trailer by about 1 ton, the maximum permissable load on over run brakes is 3500kg,that includes the unladen weight of the trailer, not only illegal but absolutely no regard for other road users safety. also compromising the towing vehicles braking system.

thats just what i was thinking............maybe the rules are different on the emerald isle ?
how are rules going to change ianything f the trailer is overloaded or the braking system overwhelmed???
ps. when I read the thread title I was really hoping to a see different kind of photo.![]()
Because different countries have different laws, sounds crazy I know,
I think I didn't express my point too clearly but Datatek has actually explained it in the next post. I was trying to say if the physical limits are reached, the fact that rules may be different from one place to another isn't going to make a blind bit of difference. But then Data has clarified that the regulatory ceiling is arbitrary and not related to physical capacity so it fine.
