How do all,
Ive just replaced all the pipes but the pipe that goes to the front of the engine bay wasnt connected to anything i think this is where the vacume is but cant seem to find it any where, is it hidden.

Cheers Ben.

Under where the jack is or would be positioned u can see a bit of it in one of the two large round holes that are there.

Mine is a 300 but the pipe goes towards the jack on the N/S i can see somthing under there but need skinny hands not like my shovels. Is there a way of getting under or is it a case of cut hell out of ya hands.

sorry got it wrong it is under the air box /jack might be a bugger to get to just looked throcgh my old manual

Your not wrong there I used a mirror on a stick thing to see what was what (top tip) then refitted the hose by feel then went and got the plasters to cover the scratches on the back of my hand.:)

it's held in by two (or three??) rubber mounts that you can see from underneath.. push them through and it will come out through the hole to the right of the one you can see it through (closer to the middle of the engine bay) I believe these holes come out of the factory covered in a rubber sheet so you may not be able to see them but the sheet is just held down by mastck or similar.. you can also test the pump once it's out by wiring directly to the battery +ve then earthing the other two pins.. if it's all working it will pull the throttle fully open then release when you disconnect.

Cheers guys loads of help, got it working now.Abit of a ballake just one little cut so i think i got of lightly.
Cheers again Ben.
