Can anyone reccomend a good alloy wheel refurber. And does anyone know if you have to have a spare set to go on in the mean time while they are being refurbed?

there is a place in wolverhampton called a1 wheels, they are absolutely brilliant and very reasonable i think they will do em by courier if you arrange it

i know they have "loan wheels" so if you are willing to make 2 trips up there maybe they can help you there

If the wheels are a pretty common type, some places do a swap for a previously restored set, and take your knackered set in exchange.
