When I did the MOT this year, the front wheels had play in them, I think I was told it was the wheel bearing, are timkin the only good make to get?(not the cheapest) also is it JUST the bearing I need? (2 front set)

Yea I did see that, might have to be a hub, or get someone to do it with a press

Apart from the bearings KIT (clip nut) what else do I need? eg is there an outer and an inner bearing too? (im thinking not?) but I might as well change whatever so I dont have to touch it again

It's all one piece, inner outer and sealed.

A timkin bearing is gonna cost you upwards of £70 have you considered a sh hub ? Complete with original bearing mite be worth a go you can pick them up from about 20 quid clean it up and just swop it out.
