The copper studs on the wheel arch liner are weak af. They have them plastic nuts attached. Any solution for replacing them when they break ?? Obviously drilling and tapping is all I can think

I had a few of the plastic nuts missing so 3D printed a few of these and inserted a U clip, could you drill the old stud out and put a self tapper in with some of these?
of course you may need a 3D printer I'm happy to print some and send them to you if you want to have a go.
