On the top front of my td4 engine directly below where the sensor is in the hose there is a tab that looks as though its threaded and should have something in it however there's nothing near it any ideas what its for?
That's where the cover fits. It was deleted at some point in the production run. The inlet manifold remained the same throughout production. So it just left that unused tab.
