Doe's anybody know the exact legal weight that I can carry in the back of my 1996 Discovery TDI??,assuming that there are two average sized people in the front and none in the back!!
I have had a look in my handbook but i am still not very sure

Regarding the legal part, thats not really an issue, you can throw several tones in the trailer for example no problem for example, its more about axle weights here, you would be OK with about 750kg.

300tdi max gross vehicle weight is 2720kg.

max rear axle is 1650kg.
