I've looked in the common faults section but can't find anything there.

What size socket do I need for disconnecting the propshafts on a '99 petrol Freelander?

They're the same type as the cylinder head bolts (E12) but are they the same size?

Yeah same size E12/17mm rear, E10/15mm front, 10mm for support bearings
