i jumped in to my 90 yesterday after about 2 weeks of not useing it and had a flat battery for which i thought was ok as i hadnt used it so charged it fully an used the landy all day 50 mile drive used the winch a fair bit and drove home in the dark , then i jumped in it this morning to pop to the local shops and its as flat again any ideas what i should check for and how befor i go an spend money i havnt got on a new battrey

check output voltage from alternator u should be getting around 14.4v if its a lot less it wont be charging your battery

or take to a motor factors type shop get them to test battery they will tell you the health status and charge of battery
 
use a multi meter and measure amps being drawn by disconnecting -ve battery cable with ignition switched off, and putting the +ve multi meter lead on the battery terminal, and earthing the -ve lead (to the battery earth cable). If it doesn't show zero, then you've got something consuming the battery whilst the ignition is off.
