I've just noticed my Disco 2 is missing a 'bit'.
This part is a small rubber flap that sits on the bottom right hand side of the wiper facia and channels water from the screen down the water channels on the side of the engine bay instead of allowing it to gather in the bay where your heated windscreen contacts are located.
There is one either side of the facia and I need to know what it is called so I can order a new one.
It's just a moulded rubber piece so hopefully won't be too expensive and I don't fancy the water gathering under the bonnet and eating away at the metalwork.
Any help?
I shall post pics tomorrow if it helps.

it has many names, the most common is "moulding - plenum intake extension", seems expensive for what it is, around 10 quid :( google out JAG000040 RH , JAG000050 LH (as you sit in the car)

Dosbox - a tip for you if you're looking at corrosion prevention.

You'll have a piece of soundproofing stuck to the bulkhead behind the engine. This covers the bulkhead from inner wing to inner wing IIRC. The problem is that it goes right up to the inner wing preventing debris from being washed away from the inner wing/bulkhead joint. Cut the soundproofing away to leave a 1-2 inch channel down this area - once you start peeling it away you'll see it is full of mud and rotting leaves which if you leave it for long enough will cause corrosion.

Cheers :) It's nice to know they chose an easy to figure out name for the part!
