hi,

I'm just about to replace the seals on the rear hub after loosing oil. Its obviously lost oil looking at the state of my rear wheel so I was wondering whether I should put some new in?? Should I just use EP90 and re fill my rear axle or should I use something else and put it somewhere else??
Thanks,

Jon

which seal/seals are you replacing? if you tool everything off back to the stub axle and then removed that, ep90 from your axle should have poured out. which would neccessitate the draining of the remaining oil and replace with fresh. check the haynes for capacity. think its around 2.5-3litres for a rover axle.

I'm just replacing the hub seals, I think, they haven't arrived yet. I've booked myself some time away from the wife over the weekend!!
