I am starting from the point of wanting a series 1 with a V8 in it not a concours restoration. Just looked nicely scruffy and patinated. Be great to sort it all out properly and put it back together still looking like that!.


But would the auto conversion have been a successful thing in terms of the v8?

could be ex mod so had later reg date, mine was built in 1955 but first registered in 62 when it was demobbed.

pity he didn't include some close ups of the box and stick area.

don't like the look of that bulkhead top rail.
