Well now... ya see many a true word spoken in jest.
We spent the best part of the day driving the easy stuff, kai was catching up on his driving and his young guest had a go at driving too. Did end up nose first in a deep one at one point; that was interesting! However,
Just heading for the jetwash and we noticed a rangie at the foot of the run up to the cliff face. He had just gone through the water at the bottom but his diff had got all caught up. He only needed a gentle pull over a squishy bit of mud so I thought this was a good opportunity for Kai to try the recovery in a safe and gentle manner.
He pulled into the water and manoevered himself into position - the rope was hookes up. Now, all he had to do was reverse back the way he had come.
Back he goes... "Left hand down a bit" I shouted.,... unfortunately he put the wrong left hand down and promptly reversed straight back into the peaty boggy bit adjacent to the water run's entry point.
Disco up to it's wheel arches (Rangie free though).
Pictures will follow - t'was a nicely mucky ending to an otherwise clean day. Took an hour to get the motor out of there... by the time we were being pulled backwards the entire disco was so caked in mud that the only outside visibility I had was through the rear mounted cam and the TV on the dash!
