Hi All, I have had the ABS light come on intermittantly on my D1 300tdi and the blink test showed air gap in front right, so I pulled it out, cleaned and refitted and tapped in gently, however when I now come to brake on a normal road, dry, at less than 15mph the ABS kicks in with pulsing through the pedal, but doesnt always do it, does anyone have any idea what this could be please?

That's odd i thought abs disabled at that speed so you can actually stop

Is certainly is odd because it leaves you with little to no brakes at all until the abs stops what it's doing.

Have you checked for error codes?

I have yes, 2-15, 5-15 both point to front right sensor air gap, I have taken out and reseated, light went off and that's when it occurred. The light is back on again now showing same fault, 5-15 with blink test.

Swap left and right see if the problem follows?

I have got another new sensor so I will try that tomorrow and report back. Thank you
