fix it

just been to see this p38 and my god it must hav been the worst oe iv ever seen.

for starter the gear salector moved about alot and it dint lock into gear.
second the low range box woulnt work at all.
third lots of bits of trim hanging off.
fourth select nutral flashing on the dash along with slow 35mph max.
5th so many warning lights on carnt be bothered to list tem all.
6th when i asked how it rides he said "lovly very nice just like it should" i though you what with 3 ton on the bump stops.
then to top it all off when he trye to move it after i had it runng for 5 mins it dint want to start

!!!!!!!!!!IF ANY ONE IS THINKING OF BUYING IT DONT ITS THE WORST P38 IV EVER SEEN!!!!!

What a shed....and £2K?!

Sad thing is some poor sod, looking for a bargain or project, will buy it and the next day will be on here with a whole list problems.

His advert is inaccurate for many reasons but the ones that got me were

"Air Conditioning"....look at the HeVAC panel....
Full leather interior?....more like a third looking at seat

and non existent cruise control

It does say in the listing the EAS isn't working and you can see it is flashing up errors on the dash (not to mention the fully lit up EAS toggle). I'd have never bothering going to visit.

he told me over the phone it does rise up but the button doesnt work.

Don't know about these days but it used to be send the lad round to the MOT station with the log book and £50....................................... :rolleyes::rolleyes:

Don't they just check for broken springs and worn bushes? You can hardly base it on being rock solid considering how many cars there are on the roads that have been ruined by kids wearing backwards hats super gluing on springs and dampers that'd be better suited to a HGV.

Broken spring is the same as collapsed airbag no?

The car is no longer "suspended" on the chassis and will fail to meet the specifications the vehicle was designed to, and so would be considered dangerous.

Same applies to number one bad boy in his saxo....alter too much from the manufacturers original design and it could be a fail as it will not handle as it was designed to.

it's clear he hasn't the time or the skills to sort the problems with this and just wants to get rid quick, listed everything the people want when looking for a Range Rover and not what is actually on the car.

He says CD multi changer - but the boot is empty?? I wouldn't want to buy one that has been driven around on test drives on its bump stops!!

But to be honest this guy could say this car was Blue in the listing I'm sure eventually someone will buy it.

I once knew a guy selling a Golf and would only have viewers in the rain as all the windows were held up with wood!! buy eventually he sold it and never heard anything from the buyer?

I would think the former. Suspension sat on bump stops is a straight fail.
