All my other 4x4's have had snorkels but my disco 200tdi hasnt got one yet so was wondering whats the deepest i can safely go? cheers

if it's lapping over the bonnet then you're pushing yer luck...
top of the wheel arches is safe

I believe the official figure is 20 inches (500 mm)
(same as a Freelander2)

have a look under the bonnet and note where you air intake is

whilst on aboot that drop yer air filter out and check for any oles in the filter box in the bottom mine got 2 oles in them not sure if its lets water out or lets it in !!!!

still wouldnt go that deep unless yer have wading plugs and or breathers.
