I have 1988 Vogue with an LPG conversion, the problem I have is intermittent, the rangy has been running fine for the last 3 weeks, starts fine runs ok, however on 3 occasions I have driven about 70 miles then stopped for about 15 minutes, tried to start the car but it just turns over doesn’t fire at all, but if the car is left for say an hour it will then start again, This happened again on Monday last but this time she backfired and wrecked my air flow meter, which I have now replaced. Recently I have replaced Dizzy cap/ plugs / rotor arm / distributor / but this problem persists, any help would be appreciated

if you say whether it happens on lpg, petrol or both it might help those that know help yer

The LPG system starts on petrol then switches over to gas

Update on my rangy starting problem, I went on an 80 mile run over the wkend, and again when stopped the car refused to start, I had a thought that maybe something electrical is not switching, so I took off the battery terminal for a few seconds, then put it back on and the car started.
Any ideas why this should be
