Hi guys. I am based in Reading Berkshire. i am the owner of a RR vogue L322 4.4 V8 (52 reg). Its my first RR and i am hoping some of you can help. The car starts up lovely when i select drive and go into manual. it selects first gear. When pulling off it has lack of power and runs up the gears until it gets to 5th gear and then it stay stuck in 5th. It is driving smooth in 5th but once stopped its a lot of rev and a slow start to get going again.

its mainly stuck in 5th gear. even when in normal drive mode its still stuck in gear.

Could you please advice as i am sure someone has faced a similar issue. Can you also advise on the severity of the issue & how much its likely to cost. All the help is appreciated. Including suggesting a repair place.

Any oil in the gearbox? After that, you need diagnostics.
