hi iam fitting a reconditioned viscous coupling with bearings onto a t reg diesel freelander. anyone got any advice on ways to fit? should i fit the front or rear prop of the shaft first? any advice cheers

remove the vcu and props as an assembly, mark where the vcu bearing supports are and mark where the props line up with the diffs , disconnect the props from the diffs first and support them , then unbolt the vcu and lower the complete assembly.
Replace the vcu in the assembly , then refit the assembly vcu first then the props , then line up the vcu bearing mounts to 90 degrees with the centre line of the vcu.
