is there anyone running a 300tdi auto with edc on veggie oil or bio ?? was thinking of trying it but someone has told me that the edc pump wont take it and will cause damage can anyone clarify this for me or is it a load of bullshine?

300's are fine with Veg (up to 75%) or bio.
Why bother though? Doozels fookin cheaper now!

It isn't the type of oil that might cause a problem. It is the viscosity of it.

Straight veg oil is thicker especially when cold, and that can strain the vanes of the intermediate pump inside your injection pump. These are made of Paxolin sheet and can snap in two - bye-bye pumping. These pimps are easy to take to bits and fix. Did one last week from a Massey Ferguson tractor. If I knew how I would show y'all a photo of it in pieces!
